US plans to tighten anti-money laundering measures in cryptocurrency market
The representative of FinCEN, Kenneth Blanco, plans to raise the bar in compliance with laws on combating money laundering from the cryptocurrency industry.
Blanco made it clear that all cryptocurrency companies will have to provide all the necessary information about their customers in the required order. The AML Law should apply to all, without exception, which the Director of the Financial Crimes Network has separately focused on. He noted that for the complete success of any transaction, it is worth knowing about the user on the other side of the transaction to be sure of the legality of his actions. That’s why FinCEN will do everything to minimize illegal crypto operations.
